CATIA V5 R18 305 - Digital MockUp Kinematics
Overview:
This course is intended to teach users how to add kinematic mechanisms to their assemblies. These mechanisms can be used to simulate motion in an assembly and evaluate a design. Key topics include: mechanism, basic joints, motion transfer joints, rotating joints, complex joints, analyzing mechanisms, simulation, sensors, simulation player, replay, trace, swept volume, sub-mechanism, dressup mechanism, distance and band analysis, interference analysis.
Prerequisites:
103 - Assembly Design or equivalent experience as a minimum requirement. 203 - Assembly Design or equivalent experience is preferred. Familiarity with CATIA assemblies is helpful.
Intended Audience:
Designers, Design Engineers, or Engineers who need to perform kinematic analysis on assemblies.
