Overview:
This course teaches the essentials of the CATIA V5 Drafting workbench: creating drawings, views, dimensions, and annotations. Key topics include: 2D views, folding lines, 2D geometry, geometry modification, constraints, center line, axis line, threads, projections, View Wizard, secondary views, sheet borders, callouts, text, weld symbols, roughness symbols, 2D components, catalogs, borders, balloons, BOM, and component filtering for assemblies.

Prerequisites:
100 - User Interface or equivalent knowledge, and 10 hours experience with CATIA. Basic knowledge of Part Design and Assembly Design is helpful.

Intended Audience:
Designers, Design Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers (both new and current CATIA users) who need to understand how to create drawings using the CATIA Drafting workbench.
