Overview:
Learn how to use CATIA 3D Experience Part Design Engineering Software Application while learning the basics of plastic part design. You will learn how navigate 3D Experience user interface as well as the Part Design application features and commands such as Sketch, Splines, Shaft, Pocket, Pad, Draft, Edge Fillets, Stiffeners, Rectangular Pattern, and Geometric Set. You will then apply them to create a plastic drill body part while learning the basics of plastic design such as draft, structure, and designing with tooling and manufacturing in mind. This course is part of a continuing series that will then move to a basic surface course that will add more features to the same plastic drill body created in this course.

Prerequisites:
CATIA V6 2018x 100 Essentials foe New Users or anyone with a basic understanding of any CAD software wanting to learn CATIA V6 3D Experience.

Intended Audience:
Designers, Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and downstream users. Any CAD beginner wanting to learn a basic understanding of plastic part design.
