Overview:
The FT&A course teaches you how to apply 3D annotations (such as dimensions, tolerances, geometric tolerances, and other annotations) to their part design using the CATIA V5 Functional Tolerancing & Annotation workbench. Key topics include: creating views/annotation planes, text, flag notes, attribute links, roughness symbol, dimensions, threads, captures, connect, feature control frames, basic dimensions, 3D grid, note object attribute, drafting, weld callout, and limitations of the workbench.

Prerequisites:
A basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles and the CATIA FT&A license.

Intended Audience:
Designers and Engineers who wish to annotate their part design in 3D. Personnel involved in downstream applications that might use this data could also benefit from this course.
