Overview:
This course is designed to help CAM users transition from NX 3 to NX 5. The course provides an overview of general changes to the Manufacturing application as well as enhancements to milling and turning. Key topics include: in-process workpiece, gouge checking, inheritance status, non-cutting moves, tracking points, streamline drive, Z-level, face milling, plunge milling, user-defined milling, turning, solids, avoidance, automatic local return, threading, center line drilling, and multiple finish passes.

Prerequisites:
Prior NX 3 experience.

Intended Audience:
Individuals familiar with NX 3 Manufacturing who need to understand the impact of changes made to these applications in NX 5
