The NX 3 to NX 5 CAM Update course is intended to help you transition from NX 3 CAM to NX 5 CAM. In addition to addressing general manufacturing enhancements and dialog changes, this course covers specific Milling and Turning topics. The Milling unit explores non cutting moves, contact contour, surface contouring, streamline drive method, Z-level optimized cut levels, collision avoidance, face milling, 5 axis Z-level, plunge milling, and user-defined milling tool creation. The Turning unit examines solid selection, machine cycle, centerline drilling, threading, avoidance, tracking points, automatic local return, multiple profiles, finish passes, and machining all regions. Completing this course will make your transition from NX 3 to NX 5 go much smoother.
